Exterior changes to townhouses and lots must be approved by the Board's Architectural Review Committee. Examples of items that need approval might include additions, fences, decks, porches, sheds. Replacement windows do not require approval as long as they conform to the same size and shape as the originals. When submitting any construction requests, a detailed drawing must be provided along with a description of the scope of the project including additions and modifications to existing structures. 

SHOA Architectural Review does not relieve the owner/builder from obtaining the necessary required County building permits.

Please allow ample time to respond to your request. Although we make every effort to reply in a timely fashion, the Board must approve the project in writing and we meet only once a month. Be prepared to answer questions at a Board meeting if needed.
