Trash cans must be stored out of sight on your property - please do not keep them in your front yard or leave them on the curb. Trash deposited in backyards must be in a trash container with a lidAll trash placed curbside the night before trash pickup must be in a container. If no container is used, the bags can be put out the morning before pickup (normally around 6 am)

Trash Pickup:  Your quarterly dues covers regular curbside pickup. Our trash contractor, Disposal Services, picks up anything allowed at the county landfill. The exceptions are hazardous materials such as paint, motor oil, construction debris, and items too large or heavy for their crews to load; there is a separate charge for tires.  Most trash and debris can be left on the curb Mondays or Thursdays. Recyclables are picked up on Thursdays and can be set out on the curb in the bins provided or in a suitable collection container. (Recyclables are sorted after being discharged from the trash truck.) Yard debris and leaves must be placed in labeled paper bags and and put out on Thursday.

Call Disposal Services at 703-670-9652 to inform them of special large items like furniture, applicances, etc. (limit one per week).

There is no collection on  New Years Day, July 4, Thanksgiving and Christmas Day. There will be no make-up; next collection will be the following Monday or Thursday.

In addition remember it's against Association covenants to store your empty trash containers in plain view of passers-by in the front yard or on the stoop.
